Vienna Unwrapped is great because it provides just the right amount of information — enough for me to decide which of Vienna’s endless attractions I want to visit, but not so much that I get bored and bogged down working my way through it. And once I’ve selected a place, it tells me the hours, admission, address, how to get there and sometimes even provides a link to make a purchase. Best of all, based on my recollections of my first trip to Vienna in 1999, the information is spot on. This is just a note to say how wonderfully helpful your book was in helping us to enjoy a brilliant, first-time (but not the last time) Christmas in beautiful Vienna. Next time we plan to do some of the city walks that you have set up and get into the early wonderful early modern architecture and go the Volksoper again – beautiful theatre and very tram-accessible.
