Private Wine Tasting
Things to do in Vienna November 2014.Few people know that some of Vienna’s oldest wine cellars are right in the city centre. One fine example is the ‘Augustinerkeller’, a restaurant and wine-tasting shop, and one of theoldest monastery cellarsin town. The Augustinerkeller is right beneath the Albertina museum and has lovely vaulted brick ceilings. The wine tasting shop is a contemporary blend of traditional brick interiors and cool bar design. It organises regular private wine tasting sessions. The original Augustinerkeller downstairs is worth seeing but usually very popular with tourists.
