I bought my first Vienna tourism guide for my Portuguese in-laws a couple of years ago. There are dozens of Vienna guides out there. Since then I have sneaked into a few and thought I would share my recommendations with you. They focus on up-to-date, practical guides that mostly embed Vienna into a contemporary context.
